Scott and Hirchert Suspended, Out 4 Games Saturday, June 6th , 2026 It was quite a row yesterday at Nationals Park. The Fireflies Rich Scott and the Nationals Wayne Hirchert backed up their angry words with a few shoves and a few swings. Then both dugouts raced onto the field and got involved in the fracas. When it was over, only Scott and Hirchert were ejected. As expected they were informed by the league office that they would each have to serve 4-game suspensions for their inappropriate actions. Scott on the season is hitting .314 with 1 home run. His stats include 11 RBIs and 25 runs scored. In 2 starts this season, Hirchert has notched a 2-1 record and a 4.81 ERA. |
