Carolina-Columbia Fight Results in Suspensions Wednesday, August 26th , 2026 Shiro Koyama of the Carolina Mudcats and Danny Rodriguez of the Columbia Fireflies will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 7 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Mudcats-Fireflies game at Ballpark of Columbia. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Koyama and Rodriguez will begin serving them soon. Looking at his present stats, Koyama has compiled a .294 batting average in 30 games with a .368 on-base percentage, while hitting 1 home run and driving in 6 runs. On the season, Rodriguez has a 4-3 record with a 3.34 ERA. |
