DuPerry on the Attack, Player of the Week Monday, September 7th , 2026 When it came to hitting the baseball, Matt DuPerry was in a class by himself in the Carolina League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding third baseman for Salem tagged opposing pitchers for a .500 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 11 hits in 22 at-bats, 1 homers, 3 runs scored and 3 RBIs. DuPerry has collected 85 hits for the Red Sox this year, 9 of them home runs. He has also netted 35 RBIs and scored 35 runs while batting .309. |
