Aemisegger 5-for-6 Against Modesto Sunday, August 16th , 2026 Rancho Cucamonga Quakes left fielder Dave Aemisegger had a day to remember at Nuts Grove, ripping apart the Modesto Nuts and sparking the 9-5 Quakes win. Aemisegger wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-6. "I'm usually a first ball hitter," Aemisegger told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it." Dave Aemisegger singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Chris Olson in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Thus far this year, Aemisegger is batting .342 with 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 12 runs scored. |
