Chicago A(ACL) Stops Holden Hit Streak Friday, July 24th , 2026 Alvin Holden went 0-for-4 at Rate Field to break his consecutive-game hitting streak at 31 games. The 22-year-old ACL right fielder failed to get a hit in the 6-4 Athletics victory over the Chicago A(ACL) White Sox at Rate Field. Holden did not make himself available to reporters after the game. "I think Alvin is a little upset," ACL manager Ben Chaney said. "He'll get over it." For the season, Holden is hitting .481, batted in 44 runs with 9 home runs and 40 runs scored. |
