Kaber Pounds 3 HR Against Guardians
Saturday, August 1st , 2026
Chicago A(ACL) White Sox left fielder Nick Kaber put on a dazzling display of power at Progressive Field against the Cleveland(ACL) Guardians. In the 10-8 White Sox victory, Kaber penned his name into the record books, slamming a trio of home runs in one of baseball's finest single-day efforts.
"He can hit them out anywhere, right, center, left, it doesn't matter," Cleveland(ACL) manager Rick Bristow said. "He's super strong and stays on the ball so well."
Along with his three home runs, the 23-year-old had 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off," Kaber said after the game, when asked about his hitting philosophy. "The right pitch will come, and when it does, be prepared to run the bases. Or trot around them, like I did today."
Nick Kaber hit a two-run home run off Mike Fountain in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Mike Fountain in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Paços Soutelo in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.
