Levin Strokes 5 Hits
Sunday, August 2nd , 2026
Kansas City(ACL) Royals Gold third baseman Chris Levin had a day to remember at Royals Gold Park, ripping apart the Milwaukee(ACL) Brewers Gold and sparking the 12-4 Royals Gold win.
Levin wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-6.
"I'm usually a first ball hitter," Levin told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it."
Chris Levin singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
This season, Levin is batting .373 with 63 hits, 4 home runs, 21 RBIs, 13 walks, .418 OBP and has scored 27 runs. He has played in 38 games.
