5-for-6 Day for D'Amelio Monday, August 3rd , 2026 It was almost a perfect day for Josh D'Amelio. The Kansas City(ACL) catcher displayed a hot bat, enjoying an outstanding 5-hit day, but something was missing: The Royals Gold lost to the Milwaukee(ACL) Brewers Gold, 13-12. D'Amelio told BNN reporters after the game that luck was "fickle." Kansas City(ACL) manager Jason Bell told the beat writers otherwise. "There was no luck today," the skipper said.
