Jazo Belts Bunch of Base Hits Saturday, August 8th , 2026 Edgar Jazo was on fire, sparking his club to a win, 18-2, over the Rockies. The ACL center fielder was a tough out and went 5-for-7 against Colorado(ACL) in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody and some days they fall in." Edgar Jazo hit a solo-shot off Carlos Rojas in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Adam Hintz in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Joe O'Neil in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and doubled in the 9th. This year, Jazo has socked 95 hits in 219 at-bats for a .434 average with 25 home runs. He is getting on base at a .492 pace and his totals also include 58 RBIs and 74 runs scored. |
