Carter Batters Cincinnati(ACL) Big Time
Wednesday, August 12th , 2026
The San Francisco(ACL) Giants Black stopped the Cincinnati(ACL) Reds by a score of 16-9 at Ballpark of San Francisco(ACL), with the lion's share of the credit going to shortstop Gavin Carter. The 23-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.
"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Carter said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."
Carter did just that in his 6 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Reds.
"Not much that I can say," offered Cincinnati(ACL) manager Buster Stenberg. "He just hammered the heck out of us."
Gavin Carter hit an RBI double in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
Carter is currently batting .331 with 2 home runs and 29 RBIs.
