Great Day for Lord, Hits for Cycle Wednesday, August 12th , 2026 San Francisco(ACL) shortstop Kevin Lord had a field day at Brewers Gold Park, battering Milwaukee(ACL) pitchers and hitting for the cycle. Lord sparked the Giants Orange to a win, 25-9, over the Brewers Gold by going 5-for-7 with 8 runs batted in and scoring 4 runs. "I was seeing the ball great today," Lord said. "I'm glad it translated into results on the field." Kevin Lord struck out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off John Gary in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th, hit a three-run triple in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Rich Landenberger in the 9th. This season, Lord has posted a batting average of .441 with 49 hits in 111 at-bats, 8 home runs and 30 RBIs. He has also scored 25 runs, walked 12 times and compiled a .496 OBP. |
