Konke 5-for-6 for Brewers Blue Friday, August 14th , 2026 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-6 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Malcolm Konke, it came around today. The 22-year-old first baseman scattered hits all over Brewers Blue Stadium to pace the 15-9 Milwaukee(ACL) Brewers Blue victory over the Kansas City(ACL) Royals Blue. Kansas City(ACL) skipper Ethan Tyson told reporters in the press room that "Konke deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Konke hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit." Malcolm Konke singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. For the season, Konke is hitting at a .433 clip with 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and has scored 6 runs. He has 13 hits, 4 walks and a .500 on-base percentage. |
