River Hills Loss Tarnishes Fine Game by Rodriguez
Bobby Rodriguez had a good game, but he could not keep the River Hills Rockets from falling, 8-5, to the Lake Wylie Renegades at River Hills Grounds. The River Hills second baseman went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 in the loss. Lake Wylie is now 37-30. River Hills is 26-41.

Lake Wylie won the game in part because of Rob Schiller. The first baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Renegades ahead, 2-0. For the game, Schiller had 1 double and 1 home run in 3 at-bats.

"I'm proud to wear a Lake Wylie jersey," Schiller told the Lake Wylie Gazette. "We played a good game and came out with the win. What more can you ask for?"
