The Rangers 2 downed the Red Sox 2, 18-8, at Red Sox 2 Park as Robert Smith exploded for 5 hits.

"A couple times, I got a pretty good pitch to hit," the Texas (DSL) shortstop told reporters in the postgame interview. "A couple times, I had to work for it. But I think they underestimated my abilities."
