The River Hills Rockets picked up a win at River Hills Grounds, dropping the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-3. Eli Montano was the difference-maker. With the win over St. Louis, the Rockets improved to 41-59.

Alvaro Parra had a big solo home run for the Rockets in the bottom of the fourth inning. With River Hills leading 2-1 and the bases empty, he sized up a cutter from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Bill Parsley and punished it. The result was his 8th home run of the season, which put the Rockets on top, 3-1.

River Hills manager Blake Wheeler called it "a pretty good win."
