Renegades Deal St. Louis 2-0 Defeat
The Lake Wylie Renegades knocked off the St. Louis Cardinals, 2-0, in National League action at Renegades Field. Lake Wylie pitcher and Anaco, Venezuela, native Vic Garcia had an outstanding performance. The loss makes St. Louis 45-57.

The Renegades got a big at-bat from second baseman Tyler Stewart. For the game, Stewart was 1 for 3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 25th double of the season gave Lake Wylie a 2-0 lead.

Garcia said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
