The Cincinnati Reds got a superb performance from pitcher Logan Phillips. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Lake Wylie. The Renegades won the game, 2-1. Phillips threw 6.0 innings of 2-hit ball. With the win, Lake Wylie has a record of 59-51. Cincinnati falls to 59-51.

Had Rob Schiller not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Schiller hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Renegades.

Schiller attributed the win to his team's "concerted effort."
