P.J. Shea exploded for a barrage of base hits at Yankee Stadium.

The Los Angeles right fielder had a field day in his team's 11-6 triumph over the New York Yankees, finishing 5-for-5.

"My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."

Shea must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. P.J. Shea hit a solo-shot off Dennis Loiseau in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

So far this year, Shea is batting .302 with 8 home runs and 49 RBIs.
