Fans watched the Lake Wylie Renegades and the San Diego Padres fight to the finish.

The Lake Wylie Renegades grabbed a win, 6-5, over the San Diego Padres at PETCO Park. Lake Wylie catcher Gregg Blackketter went 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Lake Wylie is now 64-53, while San Diego is 62-55.

Lake Wylie needed the clutch hitting of Oscar Mendez to seal the deal. The third baseman swatted a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Renegades on top, 6-5. For the game, Mendez had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
