The Lake Wylie Renegades stopped the San Diego Padres, 7-3, at PETCO Park. The Renegades got a big game from Martin Albarran, who was 2 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. The setback makes San Diego 62-56.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Oscar Mendez came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing San Diego pitcher Ren-qing Xian, he hit a 3-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Lake Wylie on top, 4-3.
