The Lake Wylie Renegades stopped the Washington Nationals, 7-3, at Renegades Field. The Renegades got a big game from Bobby Jimenez, who went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times. Vic Garcia picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 3-3. Bob Cox suffered the loss. The first-place Renegades have won 6 straight games.

Efrain Martinez was 1-4 with a walk for Lake Wylie. The 23-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring single off Bob Cox. It was his 50th hit of the season.
