Mike Linden imposed his will on the Rockets from the get-go. Relying mainly on his fastball, the right-hander spearheaded the 5-1 Houston triumph. Houston is now 68-56. River Hills is 54-69.
The game was on the line with two out in the bottom of the seventh inning, but Bill Klein didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and River Hills trailing 3-1, Klein retired Luke Brisebois to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Klein, with a wink.
