The home crowd had a good time watching the Lake Wylie Renegades and Washington Nationals get after it.

Jose Rosales pitched a gem to lead Washington to victory over the Lake Wylie Renegades, 5-1. Washington is now 55-74, while Lake Wylie is 75-55.

Paul Abell hit a 3-run home run off Cory Corriveau in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Nationals ahead, 3-1. In addition to the homer, Abell had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Rosales. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
