The River Hills Rockets spoiled a good performance by Athletics second baseman Jeff Lassiter, bumping off Athletics, 6-5, at Sutter Health Park. Lassiter was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was Carlos Mujica. His record now stands at 1-0. The right-hander went 5 innings, allowing no runs on 5 hits for the Rockets. The loss drops the Athletics to 2-1.
