Lake Wylie Renegades starter Cory Corriveau turned in an exceptional performance against the Seattle Mariners at Renegades Field, resulting in a Lake Wylie win, 4-1. Lake Wylie reliever Bob Woodard picked up the win to move to 3-1. William Moroni suffered the loss. The save went to Michael Ceja, number 14 for him.

Lake Wylie left fielder Jon Stober helped the Renegades go up, 2-1, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Stober hit a run-scoring single off Seattle pitcher William Moroni.

"Cory was throwing free and easy," said Lake Wylie manager Scott Barber.

Lake Wylie now has a record of 34-30 with the win.
