Mariners Suffer 5-1 Road Loss
The Lake Wylie Renegades got a good effort from starter John Mannon in defeating the Seattle Mariners at Renegades Field. The final score was 5-1. After today's action, Lake Wylie sits at 35-30, while Seattle falls to 34-31.

The Renegades got a big at-bat from first baseman Rob Schiller. For the game, Schiller went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Lake Wylie a 3-0 lead.

"John was able to locate to both sides, up and down," said Lake Wylie manager Scott Barber.
