Season Over for Kidd
Saturday, June 6th , 2026
Jeremiah Kidd has to call it a season. The Louisville Bats starting pitcher learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 06/05/2026 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a ruptured finger tendon and stated that he would not be able to play for 4 months.
The team will likely place Kidd on the injured list today.
This season, Kidd has fashioned a 2-3 mark and 3.43 ERA in 21 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .240 against him and he has logged 20 strikeouts.
