Bats Capture Midwest Division Saturday, August 29th , 2026 Grown men turned into little boys, some even breaking into tears, in the Louisville Bats clubhouse, after the team clinched the Midwest Division. "We can relax a bit, for now anyway," said manager Billy Follis. "I'm proud of every guy in the room for what we've done this season." The club has a 78-51 record as they head towards the playoffs in search of their 1st Round 3 championship. First Baseman Ben Derryberry said the team is happy to clinch what is the club's 1st division title, but "wouldn't be happy until we're lifting that trophy." |
