Carrasco Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Wednesday, August 12th , 2026 Chalk up another one for Salt Lake Bees right fielder Jairo Carrasco. He now has hit in 20 straight games. Carrasco went 1-for-3 in today's game at Las Vegas Fields but saw his club defeated, 7-0, by the host Las Vegas Aviators. "Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Bees manager Ajani Edwards said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one." Jairo Carrasco grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, walked in the 6th and singled in the 9th. For the season, Carrasco has produced 42 hits in 117 at-bats for a .359 average with 4 home runs and gotten on base at a .445 clip. |
