Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Carrasco Monday, August 17th , 2026 Jairo Carrasco has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 22-year-old Salt Lake Bees right fielder extended his streak to 25 games, going 1-for-2 as Salt Lake got the best of the Reno Aces at Bees Grounds, 5-3. "Jairo has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Bees manager Ajani Edwards said. Jairo Carrasco walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit a sac fly in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. Carrasco is hitting .366 this year with 5 home runs, 23 RBIs and 25 runs scored. He has 49 hits in 134 at-bats, 20 walks and a .446 on-base percentage. Carrasco has played in 36 games. |
