Valdez Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, September 7th , 2026 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Reno's Edwin Valdez put up last week were the envy of the league, as Valdez came away with Pacific Coast League Player of the Week honors. He belted out 9 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs and 6 RBIs last week as he posted his .391 batting average. In the current season, Valdez has put up a .354 batting average with 81 hits, 10 home runs, 34 runs batted in and scored 37 runs. |
