Satterlee Tags 3 HR Against Sod Poodles Thursday, August 20th , 2026 The old superstition that "bad news comes in threes" certainly came true for the Amarillo Sod Poodles. Wichita second baseman Jonathan Satterlee tripled up on the home runs to propel the Wind Surge to a win, 20-6, at Sod Poodles Field. "We had our chances to win the game, but we just didn't come through," Amarillo manager Manny Vera said. "Satterlee hit the heck out of the ball." In addition to the homers, Satterlee collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 6 RBIs and scored 4 runs. "Easy swings get you home runs," he said after the game. "I kept telling myself not to press. They have to be nice and easy swings." Jonathan Satterlee hit a GRAND SLAM off Marco Sanguinetti in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Stewart Ahernfeld in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Stewart Ahernfeld in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Satterlee is batting at a .389 pace this season, picking up 44 hits in 113 at-bats with 6 home runs, 21 RBIs and 17 runs scored. |
