Cardinals, Lozano Silence Northwest Arkansas, 4-0 Friday, August 21st , 2026 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals as starter Nelson Lozano shut them out, 4-0, at Busch Stadium. The Springfield pitcher struck out 5 and walked 2 while allowing 3 hits. "Lozano was good but he wasn't flawless," Northwest Arkansas manager Karl Maille said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Springfield, but this is on us." So far this season, Lozano has a 10-4 record, 14 starts, 85 innings, 58 strikeouts and a 3.71 ERA. |
