Salzman Wins TEX Player of the Week Honors Monday, August 24th , 2026 When it came to hitting the baseball, Korey Salzman was in a class by himself in the Texas League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding left fielder for Wichita tagged opposing pitchers for a .565 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 13 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 homers, 6 runs scored and 7 RBIs. Salzman is batting .526 this season in 10 games with 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 9 runs scored. He has 20 hits in 38 at-bats. |
