Ashley at His Best, Blanks Richmond Sunday, June 7th , 2026 Brian Ashley kept the Richmond Flying Squirrels hitters from doing much damage at Ballpark of Richmond. Richmond could only muster 3 hits and draw 2 walks against the right-handed Ashley, who controlled them throughout the game. Reading won the contest, 7-0. Ashley added 1 strikeout in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Ashley told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time." For the year, Ashley has compiled a 2-4 record with a 4.10 ERA. |
