Sultan of Swing: Lopez Goes Deep 3 Times Monday, June 15th , 2026 It was a special day for Salvador Lopez, but less so for the Reading Fightin Phils. Lopez slammed three home runs against the Portland Sea Dogs, but the Sea Dogs outhit him and got the win by a score of 9-8. "Lately, I been uppercutting the ball too much. I would hit it hard, but they just went sky high and stayed in the ballpark," he said to sportswriters after the game. "No big long outs for me in this game -- I leveled out my swing and connected on the sweet spot three times. I knew they were gone the minute I hit 'em." The Reading right fielder finished the day at Sea Dogs Ballpark with 3 hits in 3 at-bats, 3 RBI and 3 runs scored.
