Richmond Befuddled by McCormack in 7-0 Loss Saturday, August 1st , 2026 Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Richmond Flying Squirrels as starter Ed McCormack shut them out, 7-0, at Ballpark of Richmond. The New Hampshire pitcher struck out 3 and walked 1 while allowing 4 hits. "McCormack was good but he wasn't flawless," Richmond manager Eddie Baker said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from New Hampshire, but this is on us." McCormack has fashioned a 6-2 mark for the season, 2.75 ERA and thrown 78.2 innings in 10 starts. Opposing clubs are batting .275 against him. |
