White Selected EL Player of the Week Monday, August 10th , 2026 Richmond fans have something to crow about today as Richmond third baseman Rich White nabbed the Eastern League Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said White. He posted a .577 average (15-for-26) this past week with 4 home runs, 11 RBIs, and 4 runs scored. Currently White is batting .396 with 36 hits and 6 home runs. He has knocked in 21 runs and scored 14 times. |
