Johnson Boosts Hit Streak to 25 Games
Thursday, August 27th , 2026
Travis Johnson continued his streak at Harrisburg Grounds, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Akron third baseman was 2-for-6 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 25 games. The RubberDucks were not as fortunate, losing, 10-7, to the Harrisburg Senators.

"Johnson was hitting everything we threw at him," said Harrisburg manager Nick Matthies. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame and we came away with a win."
Travis Johnson singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, struck out in the 8th and struck out in the 10th.

So far this season, Johnson has hit .340 with 4 home runs, 26 RBIs and scored 36 times.
