Hit Streak Now at 20 for Purser Friday, August 28th , 2026 Akron first baseman Geoff Purser keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 1 hit at Harrisburg Grounds. The RubberDucks earned the 4-3 victory over the Harrisburg Senators. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Purser said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Geoff Purser struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. Purser's current batting average stands at .339 and he has chalked up 9 home runs and 50 RBIs. |
