No Playoff Berth Coming for Portland Saturday, August 29th , 2026 It wasn't meant to be for the Portland Sea Dogs this year. Despite a tough battle, they were eliminated from playoff contention today. "It is a bad feeling," said Sea Dogs starting pitcher Tim Hansen. "Once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. But you've gotta get in there first, and we weren't able to do that." The Sea Dogs are still searching for their first playoff appearance. The team also missed qualifying for the postseason last season. |
