Biloxi Blanked by Rios, 5-0 Tuesday, September 1st , 2026 Montgomery Biscuits starter T.J. Rios really did a number on the Biloxi Shuckers, shutting them out, 5-0, on 4 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 1 walk and had 6 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Biloxi manager Matt Kelley. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Rios." To date this year, Rios has compiled a 9-6 mark with a 2.68 ERA in 21 starts. |
