Playoff baseball is the ultimate experience: the once-in-a-lifetime chance of winning the Round 1.
Beginning today, every player will be under intense pressure. Players might come through in the clutch or fail to rise to the challenge. Managers will be analyzed, second-guessed and third-guessed by observers across the land, all in the span of a nine-inning matchup. The luckiest ones will be there to hoist the championship trophy up to the deafening roar of the fans.

MID News Flash: Regular Season ends

The 2026 season has come to a close and the playoffs will commence in a few days. The qualifying teams are gearing up for the so-called "second season" that determines the Midwest League title. Soon there will be only two clubs left in the running, and they will be matched up in the Round 1. Then there will be only one -- the new league champions.
