20-Game Hitting Streak for Ludwig Sunday, June 14th , 2026 Riley Ludwig extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games in the 7-3 Cedar Rapids triumph over the Quad Cities River Bandits. The 24-year-old Kernels left fielder collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. "Of course it's going to end," he said. "I'm just enjoying it until then." Riley Ludwig flied out in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Thus far this season in 51 games, Ludwig is batting .356 with 4 home runs, 22 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 78 hits in 219 at-bats. |
