Simpson Goes 5-for-6 Against West Michigan Sunday, July 26th , 2026 It was a sensational day at the plate for Logan Simpson as he led the charge to a nifty 11-3 win over the Whitecaps. The Wisconsin right fielder was pure misery for the West Michigan pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Simpson put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Jeff Christopher, manager for the Whitecaps, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Logan Simpson hit a two-run home run off Bob Galvan in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Simpson on the season is hitting .324 with 1 home run. His stats include 19 RBIs and 23 runs scored. |
