Valenzuela on Fire, 5-for-6 Against West Michigan Sunday, August 23rd , 2026 Great Lakes Loons right fielder Edwin Valenzuela went ballistic with the bat. He hammered the West Michigan Whitecaps for 5 hits to help Great Lakes win, 13-2, over West Michigan at West Michigan Grounds. Edwin Valenzuela grounded out in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
