MID's Best Player, Rios of Peoria Monday, August 24th , 2026 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Peoria's Roberto Rios put up last week were the envy of the league, as Rios came away with Midwest League Player of the Week honors. He belted out 15 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs and 8 RBIs last week as he posted his .600 batting average. Thus far this year, Rios has hit .392 with 9 home runs and 29 RBIs. |
