South Atlantic League Announces #1 Player Monday, June 15th , 2026 It was an extraordinary week for Rusty Tyson of the Jersey Shore BlueClaws. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .538, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the South Atlantic League. Last week Tyson went 14-for-26, racked up 2 home runs and 5 RBIs and scored 6 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Jersey Shore third baseman. For the year, Tyson has hit at a .370 clip with 21 RBIs, 4 home runs and 27 runs scored. |
