SAL's Best Batter Selected Saturday, August 1st , 2026 Mark Jendrzejewski put together a good July to earn the South Atlantic League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Aberdeen officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Ironbirds shortstop posted a .319 batting average with 5 home runs, 22 RBIs and 14 runs scored. A look at his current stats shows Jendrzejewski with a .281 average, 11 home runs, 46 RBIs and 55 runs scored. He has played in 94 games. |
