Big Day for Rios: Swats 5 Hits

Rome second baseman Edwin Rios had a day to remember, 5-for-5 against the Bowling Green Hot Rods at Truist Park as the Braves picked up a win, 11-5.
"He was patient up there," Rome skipper Silas Reagan told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Rios has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."
Edwin Rios singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run single in the 7th.
Hitting .310 to date, Rios has 1 home run and 7 RBIs. He has played in 28 games.
